Sim Racing (or simulated racing) is an activity that uses high-performance driving simulators to realistically recreate in a virtual environment the experience of driving a racing car. A very realistic driving experience in terms of maneuverability, using the bucket, steering wheel and specialised racing software, allows participants to experience the thrills and challenges of the racing world.

Using this experience in Psicosoft we evaluate and develop various fundamental skills for the working and personal world, both individually and in groups.

Sim Racing in the company

As with the real sport, we have different models of cars, tracks, tyres that the participant can choose individually or as a team.
Through the design of specific evaluation scenarios, we create situations that allow participants to demonstrate different skills, such as agile decision-making under pressure, stress management, concentration… that are all essential to keep the vehicle on track and respond to changes in scenarios, like communication for teamwork or the strategy to be implemented with or without leadership.

Sim Racing provides a controlled and safe virtual environment to assess and develop skills linked to the business environment. Its use in development minimises the risk associated with, for example, the working style of profiles that are not well adapted to high-pressure environments or developing awareness of habits acquired over time. It replicates and simulates high-stress situations, allowing the assessment of decision-making under pressure and the emotional management of participants in these environments, as well as their capacity for self-confidence and teamwork.

Repetition and feedback

Working with a simulator has a great advantage. The participant can repeat the tests over and over again at an individual or team level and receive immediate feedback on their performance. There is no doubt that this facilitates learning and continuous improvement, and this is expressed by the participants themselves, who are aware of how the experience and the feedback received by consultants and other participants allows them to transfer the lessons learned to their day-to-day.
